We connect generous donors and community partners with real needs. From furniture and home essentials to funds for vital programs, we make sure every contribution goes directly toward helping families and individuals rebuild stability and comfort.
We Provide Care
Compassion drives everything we do. Our team delivers meals, clothing, hygiene products, and other necessities to unhoused individuals and families in crisis — offering not just aid, but dignity, hope, and a sense of belonging.
We Educate
Empowerment begins with knowledge. We share resources and information that help families navigate community assistance programs, job opportunities, and sustainable living — giving them the tools to create lasting change.

Who Am I?
I am Chrishada L. Harmon, a woman of faith and compassion, devoted to serving others through the nonprofit organization Friends of the Homeless.
Helping people is not just a calling — it’s my life’s purpose. I believe every person deserves dignity, compassion, and the opportunity to rebuild their life.
At Friends of the Homeless, our mission is to extend a hand up, not a hand out — empowering individuals to restore their faith, rebuild their lives, and reclaim their purpose.
My heart is to bring light to those in darkness, hope to those who feel forgotten, and love to those who need to be reminded that they matter. Through Friends of the Homeless, I’ve seen lives restored, families reunited, and faith renewed — one act of kindness at a time.
My purpose is rooted in service — to give, to serve, and to love — because faith in action brings hope to life.
